Overview of the business
The Kyoto International Student Film Festival is the largest international student film festival in the Japan that is run mainly by students. Japan we hold a competition program that invites films and video works from students in Japan and around the world and screens the selected works, as well as various other special and collaborative projects. We aim to be a place for interaction that transcends film genres, nationalities, and ages.
Outline of the event
Concept "Film Festival Rooted in Kyoto"
1.Through interaction between domestic and foreign artists through each other's works, we will create a place where artists can learn about differences in the process of creating works, environments, perspectives, etc., and discuss their knowledge of their own works and videos, thereby stimulating future production activities. By discovering and nurturing the talents of writers, we aim to create a film festival that can lay a foundation for international filmmakers.
2.By bringing the artists and the audience closer and providing projects for a wide range of audiences, the executive committee aims to create a place to convey the appeal of the videos produced by students to the audience, convey the fun and high quality of the works, and deepen interest in student artists and works.
