In collaboration with Kyoto City, the Foundation will widely disseminate examples of collaboration between universities, students, and local communities in the city, and will hold the "University-Regional Collaboration Summit" (nicknamed ×"Gatch Link") as an opportunity for universities, students, and local organizations involved in regional cooperation activities to interact.
On the day of the event, there will be a lecture by community designer Ryo Yamazaki, case studies by universities that have been selected for the "University and Community Collaboration University" promotion project, and poster sessions by universities, students, local organizations, etc. that are engaged in university-regional collaboration activities in the city (panel introductions and exchange of opinions).
From the lectures and reports of various activity cases, why don't you find hints for further deepening cooperation with the possibility of new collaboration between the university / student and the community, aiming for further regional revitalization!

Event Report
On Sunday, November 6, the "University-Regional Collaboration Summit" (nickname×: Gatch Link) was held at Campus Plaza Kyoto.
In the first part of the event, community designer Ryo Yamazaki gave a keynote speech, and case studies were presented by universities that have been selected for the "Learning Town Collaboration University" Promotion Project.
In the second part, we moved the venue and held a poster session. In the poster session, 14 universities, students, and local organizations engaged in university-regional collaboration activities in the city participated, and the panels introduced case studies and exchanged opinions.
Many students, university faculty and staff, and local residents visited each venue, and the participants deepened their exchanges with each other in order to find hints for further deepening cooperation with the aim of new possibilities for collaboration between the university and students and the community, and for further revitalization.
