School, home, always a lonely protagonist. She always viewed friendship from afar. One day, on the way home from school, she finds a vacant lot with the idea of creating her own “town”, and begins drawing blueprints on the walls. At that moment, a boy approached. The boy begins to imitate the main character and gradually develops into a fight. What exactly is friendship? | |||
goyarina and coral reef | Aika Oshiro Graduate School of Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts |
2011 Final Jury Award Yuji Matsukura Award |
8 minute animation |
This animation was created for the purpose of environmental education for children. The content is about Goyarina, a piglet who dreams of becoming a ballerina and who always wears bitter gourd slices, learning about coral reefs. I expressed in a musical style that coral is a living thing, and that many living things live together with that coral. |
