At the Kyoto Student Festival, Kyoto students who transcend the boundaries of universities work hard every day with the aim of disseminating "Kyoto as a city of students" to society in cooperation with the business community, government, local communities, and universities, leading to the revitalization of the Kyoto area, and creating
new attractions.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Kyoto Student Festival. Under the theme of creating "Kyoto Student Culture," students themselves become "culture" in Kyoto, which is called "Kyoto, the city of students," and learn about Kyoto's
culture and create a new culture that adds students' personality.
By connecting to the main festival of the Kyoto Student Festival (held on October 8), which is the culmination of these efforts, we aim to become a festival that is more rooted in Kyoto and loved by people while demonstrating the individuality of students.
The first of these events, "15th Anniversary Festa in Ukyo feat. Subway Tozai Line 20th Anniversary Commemoration" will be held on Sunday, June 4 at Kyoto Gakuen University Kyoto Uzumasa Campus.
In addition to the Kyoen Merry-Go-Round, which incorporates various cultures and holds a 360-degree parade that resembles a merry-go-round, there is a fashion show by international students in collaboration with the 150th anniversary of the return of the Great Government, a train simulator experience using a train simulator in collaboration with the 20th anniversary of the opening of the
Tozai Subway Line, and there are many projects that can be enjoyed by both small children and adults.
The University Consortium Kyoto supports the various activities of students on a daily basis, and will support them so that they can maximize their performance at this festival (October 8), which is the culmination of the festival.
The students of the executive committee are also looking forward to your visit, so please come to the venue.
